Steam Iron
Operation
3. Position the curtains or fabric so that they/it can be ironed while hanging.
Push the steam button and work on the curtains.
NOTICE!
− Steam can only be produced if you have set a temperature
which is as high as possible.
− Depending on the fabric blend, thickness and wrinkling charac-
teristics, the required amount of steam may vary considerably.
More steam is needed to iron a wrinkly fabric, e.g. linen, than for
thin cottons.
Dry ironing
1. Operate the steam iron as described under “Preparations for first use”.
2. Set the temperature control dial

to the desired temperature (see
Fig.
D
).
3. Set the steam control dial

to the position
(no steam).
4. Iron the textiles.
Spray function
You can use the spray function to dampen garments with stubborn wrinkles so
you can remove them easier. You can use this function when steam ironing, but
also when dry ironing.
1. Iron your textiles as described under “Dry ironing” or “Steam ironing”.
2. Press the spray button

as needed. Water will be emitted from the spray
nozzle

3. Release the spray button to stop the spray function.
After use
1. Set the temperature control dial

position and pull the power
plug out of the socket.
2. Place the steam iron on the pedestal

and let it cool off completely.
3. If there is still water in the water tank, open the water tank lid

and pour
the water that is no longer needed out.
