Water quality requirements in the circuit
The quality of the water must comply with the standards of the European Directive 98/83
CE and the criteria indicated in the Standard UNE 112.076
Before connecting the outdoor unit:
In both new and existing facilities, a thorough cleaning of the pipes must be carried out
using an appropriate chemical cleaning product, then the pipes will be washed to clean
the chemical agent. To prevent damage to the pipes, anionic, cationic corrosion
inhibitors, a mixture of both or film-forming products that block the existing micropiles
must be added, avoiding corrosion reactions and the release of oxygen.
When using inhibitors or other cleaning chemicals, read the manufacturer's instructions
and their compatibility with the materials that make up the installation.
Antifreeze
In the case that the installation is going to work in refrigeration, antifreeze will be
mandatory. In installations that do not work in refrigeration, it should be used when there
is a risk of freezing during a period of non-operation or due to environmental conditions.
Antifreeze solutions should use propylene glycol with a Class 1 toxicity index. Ethylene
glycol should never be used in the primary circuit.
Derived problems
The problems derived from the bad quality of the water or of not having treated this
according to what is described here, will not be covered by the product warranty.
