h) Changing the Control Stick Allocation
If you want to fly with the pre-set lever assignments described above, then you may skip this chapter.
At delivery of the transmitter, the pitch and tail functions are on the left remote control lever, the nod and roll ones on
the right lever.
Depending on your personal requirements, you may also switch the roll and tail and the pitch and nod functions by
switching two DIP switches. Since the pitch lever is the only one that not automatically returns to the centre position
upon release, mechanical conversion must be performed when switching the pitch and nod functions.
Switching the DIP switches
First remove the batteries/rechargeable batteries from the battery compartment (see figure 3). Now unscrew the four
screws with a Phillips screwdriver from the rear panel of the transmitter and lift the rear panel carefully.
The DIP switches are on the bottom left of the main circuit
board. In total, you can select among four different control
lever assignments, depending on whether you switch one
or both DIP switches.
At delivery, both DIP switches are in their lower positions.
The control functions are as described in figure 14.
Switch the left DIP switch (1) upwards to place the tail
function on the right control lever and the roll function on the
left.
Switch the right DIP switch (2) upwards to place the pitch
function on the right control lever and the nod function on
the left.
Now switch the DIP switches as desired.
