5.1  Main Disconnect Switch 

 
The vehicle is equipped with a master 

disconnect switch that detaches the battery pack power 
from the rest of the vehicle systems.  This switch is 
located at the front of the vehicle inside the front right 
wheel well.  The switch is equipped with a key on a chain.  To power the vehicle insert 
the key into the socket and turn clockwise until it locks in.  To relieve power from the 
vehicle turn the key counterclockwise and remove.   
 

This switch should be disengaged before any maintenance is performed on the 

vehicle.  This switch should also be turned off during charging to prevent any possible 
damage to the vehicle electrical system.
