Contact area of the tires can be altered by altering the
pressure.
High tire pressure gives smaller contact area (1).
Low tire pressure gives greater contact area (2).
The gross service weight dived by the number of tires
gives the pressure per wheel. See table.
The ground contact area of the tires is relevant for
compacting results.
