Handlebar Assembly
Tools Required: 5mm Allen Key (included).
Attach the handlebar onto the handlebar steerer tube as shown, and tighten the handle-
bar in the handlebar clamp (tighten the four bolts with the included 5mm Allen Key).
Note:
Make sure that cable wires are smooth and out of the way before attaching
the handlebar.
Note:
The thread area on the handlebar must be covered by the handlebar clamp.
Note:
Pay attention when positioning the handlebar, that it won’t interfere with the
key on the key switch.
Note:
Do not completely tighten each bolt, one at a time. Rather, alternate tightening
each bolt following the sequence shown in the diagram until they are all completely
tightened, to assure that they are evenly tightened (see the diagram illustrated here).
WARNING
Make sure that the handlebar is sufficiently tight in the clamp
such that it does not move forward or backward in the clamp when pushed and pulled.
Inflating the Tire
The front and rear tires are inflated dur-
ing production, but invariably they may
lose some pressure between the point of
manufacturing and your purchase. Using
a bicycle style tire pump for a Schraeder
valve, inflate both front and rear tires to the
PSI indicated on the sidewall of the tires.
CAUTION
Use of pressurized air supplies such as those found at service
stations is not recommended and if not used properly, may cause a tire to blow out.
If you do use a service station pump, make sure the pressure gauge is working and
then use very short bursts of air to inflate the tire to the correct PSI, taking care to
avoid sudden over inflation. If you exceed the recommended PSI, release the excess
pressure immediately.
