remaining light time of 45 minutes / mode 1 if the rechargeable
battery weakens

BATTERY TEST / SWITCHING ON / SWITCHING /
SWITCHING OFF
• Switching on/switching: after briefly pushing the on/off icon,
the device enters automatically to mode 1.
Briefly push the button to toggle the modes.
Mode 1: climb standard – the two bottom lamps are on
Mode 2: climb high - the two bottom lamps are brighter
Mode 3: downhill standard – all four lamps are on
Mode 4: downhill high – all four lamps are brighter
• Switching off: A longer push of a button (in excess of 3 sec-
onds) switches off the Daymaker, followed by a battery test.
• Battery test: 5x flashes correspond to 100% battery charge,
4x flashes correspond to 80% battery charge, 3x flashes cor-
respond to 60% battery charge, 2x flashes correspond to 40%
battery charge, 1x flashes correspond to 20% battery charge.

POWER
• Charge the rechargeable battery completely with the enclosed
charger (mini USB) before first use (Illustration 9 + 10). While
the rechargeable battery is being charged, the indicator lamp
on the rechargeable battery will be lit red. Once the red indi-
cator lamp on the rechargeable battery casing goes out, the
rechargeable battery is charged completely. (Illustration 11)
• To extend the rechargeable battery’s service life, keep it in a
clean and dry location.
