5. Error messages / Troubleshooting
Condition Cause Solution
LEDs not bright enough.
1.
LED brightness set to low.
2.
LED board malfunction.
3.
Generator Power to console too low.
1.
Check LED brightness setting in maintenance
mode.
2.
Check connection between LED board and MCU
board.
3.
Check connection between generator and controller
4.
Check generator output. If the output at 30 RPM is
below 30 V, replace the generator.
5.
Replace LED board.
6.
Replace controller.
LED displays incomplete or imperfect. 1. LED displays are broken. 1. Replace with new console.
Erratic pulse display.
1.
Bike connected to the wrong sensor.
2.
Battery of the sensor is low.
3.
Receiver malfunction.
1.
Make sure the bike is connect to the right sensor.
2.
Change the battery of the sensor or charge the
sensor.
3.
Replace console.
Can't find the chest strap
1.
Chest strap not worn properly.
2.
Chest strap battery is weak or dead.
1.
Check chest strap has proper contact with skin and is
oriented correctly.
2.
Change the battery of the sensor or charge the
sensor.
No resistance
1. Control board malfunction. 1. Replace with new Control board.
2. Brake wiring bad connection. 2. Please check wiring.
3. Run brake test in Maintenance mode.
