A standard 2.1 mm plug connection for 12 Vdc. The current draw ranges from 30 mA to 700 mA
depending on the direction selected. If station power is used, it must be well filtered and regulated
+13.8 to +15 Vdc @ 1 A (minimum) power source. A 2.1 mm plug, center positive power plug is
included. The use of switching power supplies is discouraged due to the presence of noise in their
output.

A 2.1 mm power cord is supplied with unit. The wire with the white stripes is the +12 Vdc.
AMP
RCA connector. If you are using a linear amplifier, the keying line should be routed through the
Four Square Control Console. This jack connects to your amplifier's keying or relay line input. The
keying signal has essentially no delay on pass through. If you switch antenna positions while
transmitting, the controller waits until you stop transmitting before switching antennas. Once the
controller starts to switch antenna relays, amplifier keying signals are inhibited until switching is
fully completed.
The controller always waits 30 ms before restoring amplifier control signals after any antenna relay
transfer.
The AMP circuit is capable of switching up to 75 volts open circuit (receiving) and can safely sink
500 mA maximum current when pulled to ground (transmit). This will handle most modern
amplifiers. It will not handle high voltage relays, AC relays, or negative voltage keying systems. If
you have such systems you probably already have a relay line buffer. Simply install that buffer
between the amplifier and this jack.
