Installation
In this example, two sets of filters will be installed.
Pairs of the lower frequency should be installed
in the “
L
” or Low positions. Pairs of the higher frequency should be installed in the “
H
” or High
positions.
When you are installing two pairs of low filters or two pairs of high filters, you may not notice any
difference between “
H
” and “
L
” switch positions. The maximum phase shift above 15 MHz is
somewhat less than 360 degrees. You may want to experiment in swapping “
H
” and “
L
” sets to see
how they perform in your unique set up.
Using a Phillips Head Screwdriver, remove NCC-1 cover. Locate and remove four jumpers as
shown.
Slightly bend C101 and C32 to allow the included plastic spacer to sit on top of the relays as shown.
Position the plastic spacer over the relays. Once you know the fit is okay, peel the paper off of the
tape, place the plastic spacer in place and press gently to stick to the top of the relays.
Install one set of filters in the Low-A and Low-B positions (
can go in either direction
) by
centering the connectors over the pins. Ensure you are plugging into all of the pins and you are not
offset or missing one pin connection. Install the second set in the High-A and High-B positions.
