This  IP  address  used  is  a  static  IP  address.  Most  home  and  office  networks  utilize  a  dynamic  IP 
address system that assigns a device an IP address once it is connected. The R2P 2.0 will not connect 
to  this  type  of  network.  Configure  your  TCP/IP  properties  to  use  a  suitable  IP  address  and  subnet 
mask.  These  settings  will  be  located  in  the  Internet  Protocol  properties  of  your  local  connection 
information.  A suitable IP address has the same first three parts and a different last 4

 part.

To determine if the R2P 2.0 is connected to a network from the command prompt ping the IP address 
entered in the R2P 2.0 (example: c:\>ping 192.168.000.002). This should return the ping statistics. If 
the destination host is unreachable contact your network administrator for support.
