Collected material is stored in a 40 liters container
which is easily removed from the unit in one simple
operation. The collected material is ergonomically
handled in this way for recycling or disposal. A sight-
glass on the container provides for continous
monitoring during operation. The container has a
maximum capacity of 60 kg of material.
The DC 3800i is stable, tough and reliable and
particularly well suited to source extraction and
cleaning in a large variety of applications; welding,
grinding, sanding and floor cleaning. With a very low
sound level, the DC 3800i is particularly well suited
for use in areas which are sensitive to noise.
The DC 3800i is powered by a 3 phase Dustcontrol
turbo pump.
Description
Operation
Connect the machine to a suitable power source
according to the specification plate on the machine. If
the electrical cord get damage it should be replaced.
The filter should be cleaned 1-2 times per day with
continues running of the machine or when the filter
monitor is in the red area:
1.
Start the machine.
2.
Close the shutter valve for inlet.
3.
Open and shut the cleaning flap with quick
movement 8-10 times.
4.
Open the shutter valve.
5.
- If the filter condition meter reads
green
-
continue work.
- If the filter condition meter reads
red
-
clean pulse again.
- If the filter condition meter
still reads
red
- change the filter No 42025.
The container under the cyclone should be emptied
when it is 2/3 full.
The maximum capacity is 60 kg.
Service
With cleaning and maintenance on the machine, the
power cable should be disconnected from the supply.

The fine filter should be changed at least
once per year. Use only original spare parts.

If the machine is used with a microfilter/
HEPA filter, this should be changed every
300 running hours. Use breathing protection
when changing the filter. Care must be taken
during the filter change not to expose unpro-
tected persons to harmful dust.

Used filters should be sealed in a plastic
sack and disposed properly.

Check regularly that the electric cable isn´t
damaged.
The DC 3800i should be performance tested at least
once per year because it may be used with hazardous
materials. Worn parts must be replaced. Dustcontrol
is only responsible for machines that are equipped
with original spare parts.
The turbopump has a very long maintenance free ser-
vice life. After approximately 10 000 running hours,
the radial seal between the motor and pump housing
should be greased. Bearings and seals in the motor
and turbopump should be checked and lubricated.
Parts worn beyond serviceable tolerances should be
replaced with genuine spare parts.
