1.3 Disposal of appliance 

VistaScan Net can be disposed of as electronic 
waste�

1.4 Correct usage

VistaScan Net has been designed for use with 
terminal based IT set-ups (Citrix, Windows 
Terminal Server)� It is to be installed between the 
VistaScan and the Network connection and 
transmits the image data via the Network to the 
terminal server� VistaScan can then be operated 
from any required workstation via the terminal 
server � 

VistaScan Net:

• only connect to a Network with an operating 

system compatible with Windows 2000 or 
higher� 

• only operate together with image processing 

software recommended or provided by Dürr 
Dental, e�g� DBSWIN�

• the symmetrical band width of the network is 

lower than 2 MBit/s� A band width of 100 
MBit/s is recommended�

1.5 Incorrect usage

Any usage above and beyond that described 
here is to be considered as incorrect usage of 
the appliance� The manufacturer is not liable for 
any damages arising from incorrect usage� The 
operator bears all risks and liabilities�

Image data cannot be transmitted when:

• several Size 4 image plates with a resolution 

of 40 Lp/mm are being scanned 
simultaneously�

• the symmetrical band width of the network is 

lower than 2 MBit/s�
