10. Start-up
10.1 WebConfig settings
The configuration and system analysis
can be carried out using Website
(WebConfig) at any chosen PC con-
nected to the Network�
• Switch on VistaScan Net at the main On - Off
switch�
• Open the internet browser at any chosen PC�
• Enter one of the IP-Addresses supplied
(see
accompanying documentation) into the
address line of the Internet Browser�
• Enter user name and password�
User: vsnet
Password: vsnet
• Choose the required language�
If WebConfig does not open, refer to
section 14 - Trouble-shooting�
Additional functions of WebConfig
The pre-set network parameters (IP-Address,
Gateway, Netmask) can be changed using
WebConfig� In this way VistaScan Net can be
adapted to the current network environment�
• Change the required network parameters and
use "apply configuration" to confirm changes�
(It is not necessary to restart VistaScan Net�
VistaScan Net is operational after a pause of
60s�)
We recommend that you do not use the
automatic allocation of IP-addresses via
DHCP� The automatic allocation of IP-
addresses can lead to problems with
the connection�
Use the scroll function"System protocol" to view
the Log-Files of VistaScan Net�
• These Log-Files can be copied and transfer-
red to a text processing program using "Copy
and Paste"
