> Measure the pH value using BAYROL QuickTest strips and regulate it according to the

manufacturer's instructions:

11.3 Check alkalinity, also known as the TA value (Total Alkalinity)

> Measure the TA value using BAYROL Quick Test strips and regulate it according to the

manufacturer's instructions.

11.4 Disinfect water

CAUTION

If the disinfectant level is too high (chloride, active oxygen, etc.)

can lead to irritation of the skin, lungs and eyes. Corrosion of metals can also occur.

•

Take care to ensure that the amount of disinfectant used is always within the limits
defined.

•

If you would like to bathe during this time, check and add disinfectant as necessary
after bathing.

Chloride tablets that are added directly into the water can cause damage to acrylic
and to other surfaces.

•

Never put disinfectant tablets directly into the bathing water.

•

Always use a suitable dosing unit, available from good swimming pool suppliers, to
dissolve the tablets.

•

Always dissolve the granules in a separate container before adding.

Prerequisite: The pH value is regulated.

> Use the BAYROL water disinfection products based on chloride and active oxygen in

accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

> Remove any surface contaminants such as leaves immediately as these encourage

the development of algae and microbial contamination of the water.

Measured value:

> 7.4

> Use BAYROL pH-minus in accordance with the manufacturer's

instructions.

< 7.2

> Use BAYROL pH-plus in accordance with the manufacturer's

instructions.

7.2-7.4

The water has an ideal pH value.
