2.5 Storage
2.5.1 Preparing for storage
To prepare the unit for storage, perform the following steps:
1. Check the wheel bearings for lubrication requirements and adjustments at the end of the season.
2. Clean the machine thoroughly to prevent rust and to make inspections easier.
3. Check for loose or worn chains, belts, sprockets, and pulleys.
4. Check the condition of bearings.
2.5.2 Removing from storage
To prepare the unit for use after storage, perform the following steps:
1. Perform a through pre-operation inspection.
2.6 Road Transport
2.6.1 Set up to transport
Inspect the GP-50 Grain Processor for any loose parts, tools, or any materials. Remove them or fasten them securely to
the GP-50 Grain Processor.
To set up the GP-50 Grain Processor for transport, perform the following steps:
1. Place the conveyor in the folded position. As shown in figure 2.4.
2. Fold auger along side machine and place in the transport support and latch all hooks and pins. As shown
in figure 2.4.
