7.7.2 Disposing of the lithium battery
The appliance is equipped with a lithium ion battery contained in a special fireproof,
hermetically sealed plastic enclosure. It is easy to remove from the appliance by simply
manually unscrewing a knob.
The battery, at the end of its lifespan, must be disposed of separately from other waste.
DANGER!
Do not burn lithium batteries as they could explode or blow up violently.
Carefully collect the batteries for disposal. Avoid them being short-
circuited or their enclosure being compacted or destroyed.
Check and follow all local, regional and national laws on the disposal of
these materials. The user is legally responsible for hazards generated
during the disposal of batteries and preservation of material resources
which enable the recovery of valuable materials.
