Correct tightening of swinging arm screws (1) is

critical to rider and passenger safety.

Important

Improper chain tension will lead to rapid wear of

transmission parts.

Check the positioning marks on both sides of the

swingarm to guarantee the perfect wheel alignment.

Grease the nut (1) thread of the wheel shaft with

SHELL Retinax HDX2 and tighten it to 106.95 lbf-ft

(145 Nm). Grease the adjusting screws (2) thread

with SHELL Alvania R3 and tighten them to 7.38 lbf-

ft (10 Nm).
