Immobilizer system
To further improve the anti-theft protection, the
motorcycle is equipped with an engine electronic
block system (IMMOBILIZER) that is automatically
activated every time the instrument panel is switched
off.
An electronic device used to modulate the signal
issued upon key-on by a special antenna positioned
under the seat is housed inside key cover.
The modulated signal is the "password", different
upon every Key-On, used by the control unit to
acknowledge the key. Engine can be started only after
key acknowledgement.
