ASSEMBLY

ATTACHING AUXILIARY HANDLE

An auxiliary handle is included with your PS7000. The handle provides ease of

operation and helps to prevent loss of control. The motor housing is designed so

that the auxiliary handle can be installed on either side of the tool.

To   i n s t a l l   t h e   a u x i l i a r y   h a n d l e :

1.  Place the threaded end of the handle into the motor housing.
2.  Turn the handle to tighten it.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Your  PS7000  has  a  precision‑built  DUALTOOLS®  electric  motor.  It  should  be

connected to a power supply that is 120 volts, 60 Hz, AC only (normal household

current). A voltage drop of more than 10 percent will cause a loss of power and

the motor will overheat. If your PS7000 Polisher/Sander does not operate when

plugged into the outlet, check the power supply.
Do not operate the PS7000 on direct current (DC).

TURNING THE POLISHER/SANDER ON/OFF

• To turn the tool on: Depress the switch trigger.
• To turn the tool off: Release the switch trigger.
• To adjust rotation speed: Turn the speed control knob to adjust the speed

of the dual‑rotating pads. Turn to higher numbers to increase the speed;

turn to lower numbers to decrease the speed.
