CAREFULLY BEFORE USING YOUR
DUALIT JUICER AND KEEP THESE
INSTRUCTIONS SAFE FOR FUTURE
REFERENCE.
Always follow these safety precautions when
using your Juicer for your own safety and to
avoid damaging the appliance.
• U
npack the box with care, keeping all the
packaging materials until you are satisfied
everything is present and in working order.
• R
emove any packaging material and
promotional stickers and labels before using
the Juicer for the first time.
• D
o not place Juicer near the edge of a
work surface.
N
ever let main cable hang
loose, nor remove plug with wet hands, nor
lay or hang on hot surfaces, nor let it come
into contact with oils.
• W
hen you turn the Juicer on for the first
time, a “new” smell may be given off, this
will dissipate after a few uses.
• C
lean all parts in contact with food
before using for the first time.
W
ash with
lukewarm water and detergent, then rinse
and dry (see details on page 10)

ever immerse the motor unit in water or
any other liquid, nor rinse it under the tap.
WARNING:

heck if the voltage indicated on the
appliance corresponds to the local power
voltage before you connect the appliance.

o not use the appliance if the plug,
the main cord or other components are
damaged.

ever carry or pull the appliance
by the cord.
• I
f the power cord is damaged, you must
have it replaced by Dualit; a service center
authorised by Dualit or similarly qualified
persons in order to avoid a hazard.

his appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or
instruction concerning use of the appliance
by a person responsible for their safety.

hildren should be
supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the
appliance.

his is an attended

leave appliance
unattended during
use.

nplug appliance when
unattended or not in use.

lways check the micro mesh filter before
use. If you detect any damage or crack, do
not use the appliance.

ever reach into the feeding tube with
your fingers or an object while the appliance
is running.

nly use the plunger for this.
• I
f food becomes jammed and cannot be
dislodged using plunger, turn off the unit,
unplug from outlet and disassemble unit to
remove food.
• D
o not touch the small cutting blades in
the base of the micro mesh filter. They
are very sharp. Handle the mesh filter with
care when removing, replacing and cleaning.
N
ever touch moving parts.
K
eep fingers,
clothing, utensils and hair away from moving
parts.
• T
he use of attachments not recommended
or sold by Dualit may cause fire, electric
shock or injury.
• D
o not operate the Juicer after appliance
malfunctions.
• D
o not operate the Juicer if it is dropped
and shows signs of damage
.

ake sure all parts are correctly assembled
before you switch on the appliance.

nly use the appliance when the locking
arm is locked.
• Only unlock the locking arm after
you have switched off the appliance
and the micro mesh filter has
stopped rotating.

o not remove the pulp container when
the appliance is operating.
• E
nsure the power cord is full extracted
from the main body before use.

o not let the appliance run for more than
2 minutes without interruption.

f you have
not finished extracting juice, switch off the
appliance and let it cool down for 2 minutes
before you continue.
• D
o not use outdoors, in moving vehicles,
boats or caravans.
• N
oise level: Lc=86 dB(A).
• A
lways ensure the Juicer is turned off by
turning the control knob to “0”.
T
hen
switch the appliance off at the power outlet
and unplug the cord.
M
ake sure the micro
mesh filter has stopped rotating before
releasing the safety locking arm and/or
attempting to move the appliance, when the
Juicer is not in use, and before disassembling,
cleaning and storing.

o not throw away the appliance with the
normal household waste at the end of its
life, but hand it in at an official collection
point for recycling.
