3. Installing the receiver
The receiver consists of a splash-proof surface-mounted housing with a screw-in rod
antenna (Fig. 1) and the main board (Fig. 2).
The receiver housing with IP-53 tightness allows to choose any place of installation. The
receiver can be placed directly under the door operator cover as well as on the fence post.
Access to the screw terminals is possible after unscrewing the external antenna and
removing the receiver cover. Before connecting, the wires should be led through the
8mm wide wire hole.
When choosing the place of installation, you should remember about:
- negative impact of the vicinity of the receiver's antenna with electrical power
equipment and metal objects
- negative influence of radio interference from sources other than the remote control
- negative impact of dense buildings, damp or reinforced concrete walls
- reduced range when the remote control battery is used up
- range increase with increasing antenna location height of the receiver
