CHAPTER 5 SOFTWARE
INSTALLATION
In order to let the system board to work efficiently, a series of drivers have to installed according to
the operating system used. The drivers are distributed by diskettes. Please refer to the following
section:
5.1 PCI IDE DRIVER INSTALLATION
Please refer to the README.TXT file in PCI IDE Driver Diskette for detail installation
procedures to be used in various kind of operating system (DOS, Netware, Windows NT,
OS/2, Windows 95, Windows 3.1).
5.2 PCI VGA DRIVER INSTALLATION
(1) PCI VGA driver can support following operation system: Windows NT 3.5,
4.0, Windows 95, Windows 3.1.
(2) Install the Windows NT driver as following:
a) In control panel, double click Display icon.
b) Click “Change Display Type”
c) Click “Change”
d) Click “Other....”
e) Type “A:\NT351” or “A:\NT40”
f) Click OK
