The TAC COM 2005 may be turned
into a continuous 2 Watt Transmitter
by attaching the DTC Hot Mic.
When attached via the 15 pin
connector, the Hot Mic disables the
audio receive section. Mic level
audio is connected directly to the
transmit section.
This is ideal when:
A. You are setting up the system and
want to ensure the repeater is within
range of the listening post.
or
B. You require maximum transmit power
using a hard wired microphone, such as
in a vehicle installation.
