INPUTS
WARNING: Inputs must be unique. Avoid paralleling with other lane inputs or damage may occur.

from Access Control
Attach Input Wiring to Screw Terminals for each Input. See page 21 for detail.
Entry
- provided by access control after an entry user has been validated.
Exit
- provided by access control after an exit user has been validated.
NOTE:
Entry and Exit input contact closure duration should be 1 second or less.
Invalid Card
- provided by access control after an invalid card has been presented (optional).
Emergency
- provided by remote system to open lanes for evacuation in response to an emergency scenario.
Bypass
- provided by remote system to place the lane in Bypass mode. Barrier will open and free passage will
be allowed in both directions.
Barrier Disable
- provided by remote system to open the Barrier while still responding to Entry and Exit Inputs
to track user passage.
Free Entry
- provided by remote system to allow users to enter without an Entry input.
Free Exit
- provided by remote system to allow users to exit without an Exit input.
Entry Closed
- provided by remote system to close passage in Entry direction. This can be used to open more
Exit Only lanes during high traffic periods.
Exit Closed
- provided by remote system to close passage in Exit direction. This can be used to open more
Entry Only lanes during high traffic periods.
OUTPUTS
(Dry Contact, N/O-Common-N/C)
Attach wiring to Screw Terminals for each Output.
The 2
Alarm
outputs are the same. They mirror the Alarm condition for remote monitoring at two points.
Entry/Exit Complete
outputs are triggered when a Valid User completes passage through the lane. This can be
used for Time in Attendance or other monitoring scenarios.
Entry/Exit Abort
outputs are triggered when a Valid User enters the lane, then reverses and does not complete
passage through the lane, or when Card Timeout occurs before passage is complete.
Barrier Forced
output is triggered when the Barrier was physically rotated by a user, and the Break-away
Switch state changed. To reset the Barrier, physically rotate it back until the Break-away detent clicks into
position.
Bypass
output is triggered when a Bypass Input is provided.
Invalid Card
output is triggered when an Invalid Card Input is provided.
