Changing the remote control battery
The battery for the remote control has already been inserted.
You only have to remove the transport guard.
1. The battery compartment is lo-
cated on the narrow side of the re-
mote control. Pull it out as shown.
2. Remove the empty battery and in-
sert a 3 V battery, type CR2025.
The positive terminal must point
upwards.
3. Place the battery compartment back in the remote control so
that it locks in place.
Start-up
1. Unpack the product contents and remove any protective foils
and stickers. Check all parts for any damages from transport.
Should you identify any transport damages, please promptly
consult customer service.
2. Use the two O rings to attach the chain to hang up the board
to the sliders on the long or short side of the board, depending
on whether you would like to set up the board horizontally or
vertically.
3. Connect the USB port of the board with the USB adapter.
4. Connect the USB adapter with the On/Off switch to the mains
adapter.
5. Insert the mains plug in a properly installed and grounded 220 –
240 V socket with earthing contacts. The product automatically
switches on.
6. Set the product up in a suitable location or hang it on the wall
using the hanging
fi
xture. Use suitable mounting materials to
hang it up (e.g. a screw and a dowel). They are not included in
the product contents. The type of mounting material depends
on the composition of your wall. Please also be absolutely sure
to observe the safety notes for mounting.
7. Write or draw on the LED board with the two neon board mark-
ers.
• Before using the markers for the
fi
rst time: Shake the
marker and push the stylus down on a piece of scrap
paper until the tip has
fi
lled with colour.
• Switch the board on in advance so that you can better
see what you wrote/drew.
8. Select the desired colour or the desired effect and push the cor-
responding button on the remote control. Or select the desired
colour, by pushing the On/Off switch on the USB adapter for
several times.
Please note that the colour settings are mixed colours. For
this reason, the colour tints may exhibit minor deviations.
Even the white light is a mixed colour and thus you don’t get
a purely white colour tint!
9. If you selected an individual colour, you can adjust the desired
brightness of the colours with the buttons to increase/decrease
the colour intensity/speed.
10. Once you have selected one of the four colour change func-
tions, you can adjust the speed at which the colours alternate
with the buttons to increase/decrease the colour intensity/
speed.
11. To switch off the LED board, push the On/Off switch on the USB
adapter for about 3 seconds
or the OFF button on the remote
control.
12. To switch the board back on, push the On/Off switch on the
USB adapter again or the ON button on the remote control.
13. Use a clean, dry cloth to clean the board. Do not use any glass
cleaners. Otherwise, the colour of the board markers may no
longer stick properly.
