Setting the Time and Date
The time and date need to be set after the batteries have been
inserted.
1. In the time display (
TIME
), use the
UP
button to select either
12 h mode or 24 h mode.
2. Press the
SET
button. The hour display
fl
ashes.
3. Use the
UP
and
DOWN
buttons to set the current hour and
con
fi
rm by pressing the
SET
button.
4. In this way, consecutively set the minutes, the year, the month,
the day and the language in which the abbreviation of the day
of the week should be displayed.
After con
fi
rming the language with the
SET
button, the time setting
mode is exited. The correct time appears on the display.
Temperature Display
The ambient temperature is shown automatically on the display in
the range 0°C – 50°C or 32°F – 122°F. If
Lo
appears on the display
instead of a value, the temperature is below 0°C / 32°F. If it is above
50°C / 122°F,
Hi
is displayed.
You can use the
DOWN
button to switch between °C and °F.
Setting the Alarm
1. On the time display (
TIME
), press the
MODE
button once to
switch to the alarm (
ALARM
).
2. Press the
SET
button. The hour display
fl
ashes.
3. Use the
UP
and
DOWN
buttons to set the alarm hour and con-
fi
rm by pressing the
SET
button.
4. In this way, consecutively set the minutes, the interval of the
repeat alarm
Zz
(1 – 60 minutes) and the alarm sound (1 – 10).
5. Press the
MODE
button twice to exit the alarm and return to the
time display.
The alarm is set, but not activated.
Activating the Alarm
1. On the time display (
TIME
), press the
MODE
button once to
switch to the alarm (
ALARM
).
2. Press the
DOWN
button once: The alarm function is activated
and the
symbol is shown.
Press the
DOWN
button twice: The repeat alarm is activated.
The
and
Zz
symbols are shown.
At the preset time, the alarm switches on with the chosen alarm
sound. It switches off automatically after around 2 minutes.
3. The alarm sound can be stopped before this by pressing any
button.
If the repeat alarm is activated, the alarm sound is repeated
again at the set intervals. During this time, the
Zz
symbol

ash-
es.
4. Press the
SET
button to switch off the alarm entirely.
However, the alarm remains activated and switches on at the
set time each day.
Deactivating the Alarm
1. On the time display (
TIME
), press the
MODE
button once to
switch to the alarm (
ALARM
).
2. Keep pressing the
DOWN
button until the
and
Zz
symbols
are no longer displayed.
3. Press the
MODE
button twice to exit the alarm and return to the
time display.
Timer
The timer has a reminder function. A beep is heard after a set peri-
od of time (max. 23:59:59 hours).
Setting the timer
1. On the time display (
TIME
), press the
MODE
button twice to
switch to the timer (
TIMER
). The last timer setting is displayed.
2. Press the
Set
button to change the setting. The hour display
fl
ashes.
3. Use the
UP
and
DOWN
buttons to set the number of hours
after which a beep should sound, and con
fi
rm this setting with
the
SET
button.
4. Set the number of minutes and seconds until the beep is heard
in the same way.
Starting the timer
5. In timer mode, press the
UP
button to start the countdown.
The display switches to the time display after a few seconds.
Otherwise, press the
MODE
button to exit timer mode. Howev-
er, the countdown continues.
Once the set time has elapsed, an alarm signal sounds for 1
minute.
6. The alarm signal can be switched off by pressing any button.
Stopping the timer
• In timer mode, press the
DOWN
button to stop the countdown.
Snooze Function
With the snooze function, a selected sound is played for 10 to
60 minutes. When this happens, the projector lights up in alternat-
ing colours. After the set period of time, the sound and lighting are
automatically switched off.
1. You can select the duration of this in 10-minute increments by
pressing the
TIME
button.
2. Press the
SOUND
button to start the sound playback (snooze
function). The remaining time is shown on the display.
3. Use the
UP
and
DOWN
buttons to select one of the 10 sounds
(a natural noise or a melody).
4. To stop the playback, press the
SOUND
button.
5. To end the snooze function entirely, press the
MODE
or
SET
button.
The snooze function can be started directly at any time
using the
SOUND
button. The last setting for the playback
time then applies.
Cleaning
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents.
These can damage the surface.
Dust off the article if necessary using a soft, dry cloth. More intense
soiling can be wiped off with a damp cloth.
