Intended Use
• The article is suitable for doing watering outdoors. Do not use
in enclosed spaces!
• The article is only designed to be used on an outside water tap.
• The article is not suitable for watering using hot water.
• The article is not suitable for use as a drinking water dispenser.
The article is a garden tool which is used and stored outdoors.
The hose can be exposed to situations which are harmful to hu-
man beings, for example mould and bacteria, fertilisers, animal
waste, insects, standing water and other harmful substances
• The article is for personal use only and is not intended for com-
mercial applications.
• The article should only be used as described in these instruc-
tions. Any other use is deemed to be improper.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects
caused by improper handling, damage or unauthorised at-
tempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear and tear.

away if the hose is not being used.

Do not kink the article or roll it up too tightly to prevent damage.

• 1 open/close valve
Assembly
1. Make sure prior to use that all rubber seals are securely in place
in the plug-in adapters or hose connections so the hose does
not leak.
2. Connect the connection pieces. Make sure that the threads
are

rmly tightened up to prevent any water from escaping:

Check the connection of the tap to which the garden hose is to
be connected. Depending on the thread, the start of the hose
(
A
) is screwed directly onto the tap or the appropriate plug-in
adapter must be screwed in between them.

Screw the plug-in adapter

rmly on the other side of the hose
(

) by securely holding the end of the hose and twisting on the
plug-in adapter until it
fi
ts securely.
Caution!
If no spray attachment or nozzle is being used, the
open / close valve
which is also supplied must be
fi
tted be-
tween the end of the hose (
B
) and the plug-in adapter.
Tip: The open / close valve may also be required if you are us-
ing a sprinkler, garden shower or similar product if they do not
have a valve installed on them.
It is essential to note the direction of
fl
ow of the water: The
start of the hose with a
fl
exible screw cap (
A
) is attached to
the tap. The end of the hose (
B
) is the water outlet.

Use
1. Make sure that the tap and if applicable the open/close valve
of the garden hose are closed before the hose is connected.
2. Attach the start of the hose (
A
) to the tap.
3. Turn on the water at the tap.
4. Once a little water has collected in
the hose, open the open/close valve
and use the hose like a conventional
garden hose.
5. Once the hose has been used,
close the open/close valve and turn
off the water.
6. Open the open/close valve again and allow the rest of the wa-
ter in the hose to drain away.
Care and Storage
Store the hose and all accessories at temperatures of below 0°C
indoors, in a place that is protected from the cold. Always make
sure that there is no water in the hose. Water could freeze and
damage the hose when it expands.
Disposal
The packaging material is recyclable. Dispose of the pack-
aging in an environmentally friendly manner and take it to a
recycling centre.
