- The Timer setting allows you to
set two (2) burner

times and two (2) burner OFF
times every 24 hours.
NOTE: The display shows the set temperature every
30 seconds.
Changing the Mode of Operation

Setting the Temperature
1. Select either the
MODE or the
MODE by
briefly pressing the
SET
button.
2. Hold the
SET
button until the TEMP display flashes.
3. Set the desired temperature with

NOTE: 4.5°C/40°F is the min. temperature setting.
4. Press
OFF
button or simply wait and the display will go
to the temperature control mode.
NOTE: If you would like the Nighttime Setback
temperature control to turn off, decrease the
nighttime temperature until [---] appears on the
display.
Setting the Timer
1. Select Timer mode by briefly pressing the
SET
button.
2. Press and hold the SET button until “TIMER” is displayed
on the lower right hand side.
3. Press and hold the SET button until the P1
and
the time display flashes. Set the hour by pressing the
and set the minutes by pressing the
.
4. Briefly press SET button for the next burner cycle time.
Example: P1 continue through P2
and P2 .
If Nighttime Setback Temperature is turned off,
P2
will not appear.
5. Once all four (4) times are set, press
OFF
or simply
wait to complete programming.
N.B.:
timer and thermostat functions will only work if
the appliance is on stand-by with the pilot alight.
Manual ignition
It is also possible to ignite the heater manually if necessary.
To do this, remove the glass pane.Turn button A (fig 24) to
MAN. Now, poking a pen or screwdriver etc. through the
hole in button A, press the coil.The pilot-light burner will
now fill with gas and can be ignited with matches or a
lighter. After 10 seconds you can release the coil and the
pilot light will stay alight. Replace the glass window frame
and turn button A back to ON. Now you can regulate the
heater by remote control or manually by turning button B.
The ticking heard when the button is turned is perfectly
normal.
Changing the code
The remote control code can be
changed if so required.This will require
changing the DIP SWITCH, which is on
the remote control near the battery.
Once the code has been changed, press
the reset button on the receiver until
you hear two signals. After the second,
longer signal release the reset button and within 20
seconds press
on the remote control until you hear an
extra long signal.This means that the new code has been
confirmed.
