1. Lay wheelchair on its back. Open seat two-thirds
of the way so seat posts do NOT rest on chair
frame. Unfold seat extension by pulling upward on
end of seat to release velco
®
.
2. Pull outward on velco
®
strips to free them from
underside of seat.
Your Viper Plus GT Full Reclining Wheelchair
comes with an adjustable depth seat that has
been factory set at the shortest position.
Follow the instructions below to extend the seat
depth of your chair.

3. The seat extension post is located inside the
seat frame. To access it, turn screw counter-
clockwise and remove it.
4. Pull upward on seat extension post until the
second hole on the seat post lines up with the hole
on seat frame. Re-insert screw into bottom hole
and turn clockwise to secure in place.

closure strap over extended seat
post to secure seat upholstery to the frame.
