Operating Instructions
Important:
DO NOT RUN DRY - FOR INDOOR USE ONLY. Pet Fountain will come
fully assembled and ready for use.
1. As with any electrical device, check the electrical Power Cord for any tears or
damage before use.
2. Make sure the Inline Plug is fully connected (No silver showing).
3. Remove the Housing Lid by placing your index fingers into the inset grooves on
either side of the Housing Lid. Lift up. Set the Housing Lid aside.
4. Insert the Charcoal Filter. The Charcoal Filter will
fit into the two triangular slots located on the right
side of the Housing. The Charcoal Filter fits narrow
side down and the white side faces the front of the
Pet Fountain (
Fig. 1
). The Charcoal Filter will slide
easily into place, but make sure it is pushed all the
way down.
Important:
Rinse the Charcoal Filter thoroughly under
cool water before placing in the Pet Fountain. This will
remove any loose charcoal dust, which is harmless. A
small amount of charcoal dust may shed for the life of the
Charcoal Filter. This is normal and not harmful to your pet.
5. Fill the Pet Fountain with water. This includes both the Bowl and the Filter Housing.
This will prime the Pump. Replace the Lid.
6. Place Pet Fountain in desired location. If placing on carpet, tile or wood flooring
use a protective mat or other durable, water resistant surface to protect your floor
from splashing or dripping from your pet.
7. Before you plug the Pet Fountain in, make sure the cord and your hands are dry.
Plug the Pet Fountain into a standard electrical outlet.
8. Set your desired flow rate with the Flow Control
Knob, located to the right of the splash ramp. In the
10 o’clock position for a smaller stream or in the 2
o’clock position for a strong stream (
Fig. 2
).
9. Add water as needed. Do not let the water level
fall lower than the Flow Control Knob or you may
burn out the Pump’s motor. Do not pick up a full
Pet Fountain by the Housing. Only pick up the Pet
Fountain by placing both hands underneath the
base of the Pet Fountain and grip the sidewalls for
a sturdy hold.
