4. THEORY OF WORK
Induction cooking is a safe, advanced, efficient and economical cooking technology. It works
by the electromagnetic vibrations that generate heat directly in the pan, in place of indirectly
through the heating of the surface of the glass. The glass is heated only because the pan
eventually warms it.
BEFORE USING YOUR NEW CERAMIC HOB
• Read this guide, taking special note of the ‘Safety Warnings’ section.
• Remove any protective film that may still be on your ceramic hob.
