8.8 shutdown
Powers off the system. Shutdown takes about 20 seconds.
Please always shut down the device before disconnecting the power supply, otherwise
recorded image data might be lost.
If you have unsaved changes to the settings make sure to save them before doing a
shutdown.
After shutdown the camera goes into standby mode which is indicated by a yellow glowing
Sys LED, to leave start the camera again, disconnect power for at least 5 seconds or
press the power button for ~3 seconds (also see chapter 3.1).
8.9 reboot
Does a system reboot (warm start). A full reboot takes about 40 seconds.
If you have unsaved changes to the settings make sure to save them before doing a
reboot.
8.10 switch_mode <id>
This command can be used two switch between the two operating modes (Trigger or SSM)
of the SSM500 (see chapter 1.1 for details on the modes).
The mode is selected with the id parameter:

Caution:
Switching between the modes requires a reboot, the reboot will be performed
automatically when you send the
switch_mode
command, so make sure to finish your
work and stop any running recordings before doing so.
Each mode stores its’ individual camera settings which will be restored when you switch
back to it. The only exception is the DPC table which is identical for both modes, so you do
not have to run the calibration for each mode separately (see chapter 11.9 for details).
