Add / remove multiple SNMP communities.
Available settings are explained as follows:
Item
Description
Community Name
Enter a name as community name. The maximum length of
the text is limited to 23 characters.
Type
Basic
– View and access right can be specified for such
SNMP community profile.
Advanced
– Specify one of the SNMP groups for such SNMP
community profile.
View
Simply specify one of the view profiles (created in
SNMP>>View
) from the drop down list.
Access Right
Read Only
– It allows unidirectional access to node-
specific information.
Read & Write
- It allows bidirectional access to node-
specific information.
Group
Specify the SNMP group configured by user (
SNMP>>Group
)
to define the object available to the community.
Add
Click it to add a new community.
Edit
Click the icon under Edit to remove the selected
community strings.
