OPERATION AND USE
- BATTERY CHARGER (Fig.2):

designed and intended for recharging 18V

Ni-Cd and Li-Ion batteries only.
Li-Ion batteriey pack: Rating 3.2ah Max.
Ni-Cd batteriey pack: Rating 2.0ah Max.

Battery
Charger:
Once connected to the mains supply recharging of
the battery can be left generally unsupervised
requiring minimal attention. Complex circuit
construction monitors the battery condition adjusting
the recharge current to suit. When the recharge cycle
is complete and to maintain the full capacity a low
output current will continue as required.
- BATTERY
CHARGING:
To charge the battery pack, it must first be removed
from the drill. To release the battery pack, press button
on the front of the battery pack and gently pull the
battery pack from the housing. Plug the charger into a
230V/AC. 13amp, three pin socket. Place the battery
into the charger, making sure the + and - on the
battery line up with the + and - on the charger (+ to
+, - to -). The red and green LED will flash about 2
seconds to evaluate the condition of the battery pack,
then the red LED will extinguish and the green LED
still flash, this is part of the normal charging operation.
When the battery is fully charged, the green LED will
be on. The battery pack can then be removed and
used to power the tool.

- INSTALLING AND REMOVING BITS (Fig.3):
The drill is fitted with a keyless chuck, this means that
a chuck key is not required to secure the drill or
screwdriver bit. Place the drill bit shoulder into the
chuck as far as it will go, then hand tighten.
Short screwdriver bits need only be inserted to the
depth of the hexagon shank before tightening chuck
by hand.
