Step 1
:
Place vehicle on a flat and level surface. Place gear selector in “Park”
and remove keys from the ignition.
Step 2:
Locate the desired chase light mounting point on your vehicle. We
recommend that the Chase Light be installed on the rear of the vehicle,
either on the Roll Cage, or the back of the roof, facing the back, and
high enough to be seen. Mount the chase light with the Logo facing up,
using the 2 screws on the back of the chase light, or the supplied
brackets. As Shown on
Figure A
. We recommend using our Universal
Clamps (
Part Number # 11-0036
) for increased versatility (Sold
Separately). As Shown on
Figure B
.
Step 3:
Locate the tail light cables, and test each one of them using a multi-
meter to determine the brake light. You will need to turn the ignition key
to auxiliary in order for the tail lights to turn on. The multi-meter/ Test-
Light should not display power until pressing down the brake pedal.
Step 4:
Once the power wire is identified, tap into the brake light cable using a
connector (Not Included), or solder the yellow wire with a green stripe
from the chase light to the brake light cable. View
Figure C
. The Blue
(Right Turn) and Brown (Left Turn) wires are optional turn signal wires.
