Keep all guards and safety devices in
place and functional. Do not disable
or remove guards, safety interlocks,
or other protective devices.
Look behind when backing up the
mower. Avoid pulling the mower
backward except when necessary.
Machine may discharge debris at great
speeds. Keep area of discharge clear of
people, animals, buildings, glass, or
anything else that will obstruct clear
discharge, cause injury, or damage.
Wind can also change discharge
direction, so be aware.
Keep your Hands away from moving
parts. Never reach under the deck or
into the discharge openings. SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH may occur.
Avoid steep slopes when using this
mower. Use caution on all slopes. Mow
across slopes rather than up and down.
Do not use the Mower on slopes greater
than 20 degrees. Doing so could result
in serious injury or damage to your
machine.
Keep bystanders 50 feet away from
your work area at all times. Debris
exits the machine at great speeds. To
be safe, do not operate the machine
near small children or pets, and never
allow children to operate the machine.
Stop the engine when another person
or pet approaches.
Use ear protectors or ear plugs
rated for at least 20 dba to
protect your hearing.
Always wear protective goggles
or safety glasses with side shields
while chipping to protect your
eyes from possible thrown debris.
