CAUTION! The emitters of the ionisers are sharp and can cause injury. Do not
touch the emitter tips.
Connect one ioniser to a HV output.
3. Switch on ESUC.
4. Is a display showing again on the HV module 8A2?
ð
If yes, there is a fault in the ioniser, continue with step 5.
ð
If not, the ioniser is OK, continue with step 6.
5. For inspection or repair, send the device back
after previous arrangement with Dr.
Escherich GmbH

6. Repeat steps 1–4 until you have checked all ionisers.
TIP
In addition you can check the function of the ionisers with a suitable function tester
(see
Table 6, p. 26
6.4 Troubleshooting the Compressed Air Supply
▪ Are all connections correctly made?
▪ Is the compressed air supply on?
▪ Is the filter control valve open?
▪ Does the manometer at the filter control valve show the correct pressure setting?
▪ Is the filter cartridge of the filter control valve contaminated? Is there dirt, water or
oil in the filter bowl?
▪ Is the connection cable to the magnetic valve intact? Does the magnetic valve
switch on?
▪ Is the magnetic valve actuated correctly (e.g. in case of remote control see circuit
diagram ESUC or if applicable by AIR CONTROL)?
