ESUC 41/61/81
NOTICE
Equipment damage caused by clocked controls
The completed device cannot be triggered with synchronised controls for the connec-
ted cleaning device. If the compressed air is to be sychronised with the cleaning pro-
cess (switching cycles of less than 2 minutes), this can be done with an optionally avail-
able check valve downstream from the compressed air maintenance unit. But the suc-
tion fan and the HV supply are supposed to keep running during the rest cycles as well.
TIP
We recommend to shut off ESUC via the remote control only after rest periods of more
than 10 minutes (standby mode).
TIP
Monitoring delay collective error
After switching on, the connected peripheral items need some time before the OK sig-
nal is given. Depending on the equipment, ESUC also indicates during this time an error
at the remote control.
w
In this case, a delay in evaluation of the signals in the remote control should be
taken into consideration.
4.7 Differential Pressure Monitor Settings
The differential pressure monitor is factory preset. You must set the differential pres-
sure monitor to one of the relevant application specific settings. For new products, the
filter build-up should be checked at least every two weeks, because very course
particles create only a small differential pressure, even if the filter build-up is thick, but
fine particles can create high differential pressure, even if the filter build-up appears
insignificant. The optimum value for your system is determined as follows:
1. During the initial start-up set the differential pressure monitor to a value of about
1/3 of the maximum pressure.
2. Check the filter for filter build-up at least biweekly.
3. Monitor if the filter warning signal is triggered too early or unnecessarily – if so, the
set value should be increased step-by-step; or vice versa, if the filter warning signal
is triggered too late, even if the filter is very full, the value must be lowered.
4. This settings optimisation should be continued throughout the entire period of sys-
tem optimisation.
5. The final settings will not have to be changed again until there is a change in the fil-
ter model or the cleaned off materials.
