WHAT FOR REQUIRED
Water stop valve For protection of the water supply system. Blocks the
supply line when more than a specific quantity of water
(adjustable from 5 to 30 liters (1.3 to 7.9 gal) flows at once.
This valve, however, only protects against relatively big
leaks.
5.7.1 Water stop valve

The water stop valve prevents water loss and flooding whenever a defect in the dispenser or supply
hose occurs. In addition, a back flow prevention is installed.
Technical data of the water stop valve:
Burst pressure: 50 bar
Maximum static pressure: 10 bar
Maximum controlled water flow quantity: approx. 50 l (13.2 gal) (setting 10 on the scale)
Minimum flow rate: 1.5 l/min.(0.4 gal/min) (setting between 0 and 1 on the
scale)
Maximum flow rate: 30 l/min.(7.2 gal/mi)
Maximum water temperature: +70 ° C (158 ° F)
Connection
− to the water tap: internal thread R 3/4”
− to the supply hose of the dispenser: external thread R 3/4”
5.7.1.1 Installation of the “water stop valve” kit
D Insert the filter (1) into the water stop valve with
the curvature of the sieve facing upward
(Fig.73 ).
Improper filter installation will have a negative
effect on correct dispenser operation.

Connect the water stop valve to the water tap.

Insert the sealing ring (2) in the supply hose (3).
D Connect the supply hose (3) of the dispenser to
the bottom part of the water stop valve. (Fig.73 )
Use flat − sealing hose screw connections only.
Remove the sieve that may still be on the screw
connection. Screw on the water stop valve by
hand only.
