When the AC adapter is plugged into the control unit, the power supply by the batteries is interrupted automatically, even
when the on/off switch is in position

Mounting on the camera
Control unit
Slide the hot shoe of the control unit (9) onto your camera’s hot shoe and screw the locking screw down.
If your camera does not boast of a hot shoe, you can use an optional accessory rail to mount the unit.
LED ring light
To mount the LED ring light, fi rst mount an adapter ring that suits with the fi lter mount of your lens.
Slide the LED ring light with its rear side onto the adapter ring until it clicks closed. The ring light is now fi rmly attached to your
lens, however it can still be positioned by turning it.
USAGE
1.
Switch your camera on after having attached the ring light.
2.
Turn the ring light on by moving the main switch (8) to position
for operation with batteries or to
for operation
with AC adapter. The LED ring light lights up.

We recommend taking pictures in aperture priority mode, so you can define the aperture manually and thus select the desired
focus range.
•
The LED ring light incorporates 48 LEDs for shadow free illumination of macro and close-up shots. The permanent light allows
the recognition of reflections. To eliminate them, you can change the position of your camera or of your object.
•
Recommended range of use; approx. 3 to 100 cm.
LED setting
With the lateral switch (3) the LEDs can be switched on in 2 parts of 24 LEDs:
Position
to turn on the 24 left LEDs. This uneven illumination creates a more vivid impression of your object.
Position
to turn on the 24 right LEDs. This uneven illumination creates a more vivid impression of your object.
Position
if you wish to use all 48 LEDs for even and shadow free illumination.
