05 | FIRST COMMISSIONING
05.1 CHARGING THE SUPPLIED LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES
Before first use of the torch, please fully charge the Li-Ion batteries type 18650 (11)
with the supplied charger (10).
CAUTION
Only charge rechargeable Li-Ion batteries of the type 18650
with the supplied charger! The charger is not suited to charge other battery
types!
Connect the power cord (10a) with an electric outlet. The power indicator (10c)
lights up green. Insert one or two Li-Ion batteries (11) into the charging slots (10b).
When inserting the batteries, pay attention to correct polarity (see +/- marking at
the charging slots). While charging the charging indicator (10c) lights up red. When
fully charged, the charging indicator (10c) turns green.
NOTE
With the supplied charger you can charge one or two Li-Ion
batteries 18650 at the same time.
05.2 INSERTING LI-ION BATTERY
NOTE
For the operation of the torch only one battery is needed.
Turn the removable torch end-piece (5) counter clockwise until you can remove
it from the torch body (3). Insert one of the supplied Li-Ion batteries type 18650
into the battery compartment (4) according to correct polarity (+/-). Tighten the re-
movable torch end-piece (5) securely by turning clockwise.
06 | OPERATION
06.1 TURNING ON THE TORCH
To turn on the light, press the On/Off button (6) at the torch end-piece (5).
06.2 DIMMING THE TORCH
In order to dim the torch, turn the dimmer (6) at the torch end-piece (5).
Turn right
= steplessly dim brighter
Turn left
= steplessly dim darker
06.3 CHANGING COLOUR
Choose the colour by setting of rotary colour switch (2):
Left = red
(almost invisible for wild animals)
Mid = white
(Ultra-bright light for good visibility during night)
Right = green
(Rich in contrast light)
06.4 ZOOMING
For a pointed, focused light beam with a high distance, turn the zoom torch head
(1) clockwise. For spread light with a broad light cone, turn the zoom torch head (1)
counter clockwise. Zooming is possible steplessly.
CAUTION
Do not look directly into the LED and do not direct the light
beam into eyes of humans or animals!
Press the On/Off button (6) to turn off the light after use.
07 | USING THE SUPPLIED ACCESSORIES
Turn the removable torch end-piece (5) counter clockwise until you can remove it
from the torch body (3). Tighten the remote control with end-piece (8) securely by
turning clockwise.
Operate the torch almost silently with the remote control. Use On/Off button (9b)
and dimmer b/-:
To turn on the torch, press On/Off button (9b) shortly.
To turn off the torch, press On/Off button (9b) shortly again.
In order to dim (up to 20 levels) the torch, press the b/- (9a):

- = darker
