Operation

Activating the phone

Hold the read button

on the telephone for approx. 5 seconds to turn it

on/off.

If the SIM card is valid but protected with a PIN code (Personal Identification

Number),

Enter PIN

is displayed.

Enter the SIM PIN code and press

(

upper left corner of keypad). Delete

with

Delete

(

upper right corner of keypad).

Note!

If no PIN and PUK codes were delivered with your SIM card or you no longer

have the PIN or PUK codes, please contact your provider.

Remaining attempts

shows the number of PIN attempts left. If no attempts are

left,

PIN blocked

will be shown. The SIM card then must be unblocked using

the PUK code (Personal Unblocking Key).
