3.10.2 Preparation

Note
The water heater is phase-sensitive. It is absolutely essential to connect
the phase (L) from the mains to the phase of the water heater, and the
neutral (N) of the mains to the neutral of the water heater.
There should also be
no potential difference present between neutral (N)
and earth (
A
). If this is the case, then an isolating transformer must be
applied in the supply circuit. See ’3.10.4 Isolating Transformer’ .
Figure 3.6 shows a view of the electrical connection block. Table 3.9 shows the
associated connections.
