Replace Hydraulic Oil and Clean Oil 

Suction Strainer

1.

Raise boom to its highest position. Tilt bucket back as far
as possible, and shut down engine.

NOTE:

See “Fluid Capacities” on page 4-16 for
capacity.

2.

Position a catch tank beneath hydraulic oil tank drain plug.
Open hydraulic oil tank breather cap. (See Figure 18 on
page 4-24). Remove drain plug from bottom of hydraulic oil
tank. (Figure 98). Allow all hydraulic oil to drain out.

NOTE:

See See “Fluid Capacities” on page 4-16 for
capacity.

 CAUTION!

Be certain that hydraulic oil has cooled before draining
it. Hot oil could splash and cause burns.
