DFPRE Large Dust Collectors
Positioning the collector
1. Lift the collector into position following the general guidance to lifting.
Take care not to damage dust container and cables when using fork lifting
method.
2. Using spirit levels, line up both horizontally and vertically, using shims where
required.
3. Where applicable, secure the collector to the foundation anchor bolts.
Do not use the lifting lugs of the fan box when the unit is equipped with a fan
box.consider
Anchor the dust collector to the foundations.
Anchor should project a
minimum of 45 mm and
account for nut, washer,
base plate and shims/
grout.
Provisional anchor bolt recommendations
4. Consider Hilti HIT-HY 200 Anchor System or equivalent.
Quantity of anchor bolts should match the number of holes
provided in the base plates
5. Anchor diameter is typically 3 mm less than baseplate hole
diameter.
6. Corrosive environment or outdoor installation may require
stainless steel anchors.

The lifting profile can be removed after securing the collector, see figure
6.
Store the profiles for eventual future use.
