2.1.-Controls
Figure 10 shows the washing machine's control panel with a programmable
microprocessor.
Screen (1)
Each screen has 4 lines and 20 characters. When selecting a wash programme, its main
characteristics are shown on the screen; and once the programme has started, information
relating to the wash programme status and function is shown on the screen.
Power switch (2)
This switch has two positions and is used to turn the washing machine on and off. When
“I” is pressed, the washing machine turns on and when “O” is pressed it turns off.
START key
With this key you can start a programme, pause or continue the programme after the pause.
STOP key
This key is used to end a programme.
INFO key
This key gives access to several menus such as programming, maintenance or
configuration. It also gives access to detailed displays of the phases.
ADVANCE key
This key allows speeding the execution of a programme up. Every time this key is pressed,
the programmer directly moves on to the next programme stage. If the phase being carried out is
the last one, the programme ends. Furthermore, if you keep the key pressed, the programme will
advance fast.
ESC key
This key is used to remove the error messages from the screen and consider the programme
ended. It is also used to go up a submenu when the programming, maintenance and configuration
menus are accessed.
ENTER key
This key is used to remove the error messages from the screen and continue with the
execution of the programme. It is also used to enter the programming, maintenance and
configuration submenus and to validate the modifications made to them.

) keys
The INC (

) and DEC (
∨
) keys have different functions depending on the screen and the
programmer operating mode. They allow for the selection of the wash programme, to alter
programming parameters and certain maintenance screenshots values.
