Red lentil dip
Ingredients
•
160 g red lentils
•
1 tin peeled tomatoes
• 1 onion
•
2 garlic cloves
•
1 tsp turmeric powder
•
1 tbsp chopped coriander
•
250 ml water
•
3 tbsp olive oil
•
Salt and pepper
Method
Beforehand, heat the olive oil in a frying pan. Peel and chop the
onion and garlic. Sauté them until translucent. Place them in the
container and add the rest of the ingredients, except the coriander.
Select the Soup setting by rotating the dial, then press the ON/OFF
button.
Halfway through the programme, add the chopped coriander. Make
sure the appliance is not in the blending stage and remove the lid
plug to add the coriander. Then put the lid back on again.
This dip can be enjoyed warm or chilled with toasted bread.
