8.4 Starting the generator
The generator can only be started if it is in standby and the control panel is switched
on.

Start up the generator with the green button "START/STOP (fig.

If the generator does not stop: switch it off with the main switch (fig.

NOTE
If the generator is still warm, press the start button briefly to start it; press
longer for a cold generator.

Description
Generator behaviour Measures
LOW BATTERY
The battery voltage has fallen
below the minimum value for
starting up (9V).
The generator does not start. Charge the battery.
Check OIL Level
The generator continues to run. Fill up with oil (see chapter
“Checking the oil level” on
page 18).
OIL CHANGE
The number of prescribed oper-
ating hours has been reached for
changing the engine oil.
The generator continues to run. Change the oil (see chapter
“Changing the oil” on page 22).
In order to reset the alarm start
up the generator by pressing
and holding down the
START/STOP button.
NO FUEL
The diesel fuel in the tank is in
reserve.
The generator continues to run. Refuel.
