Refrigerator operation
The refrigerator is equipped to operate on
three power modes:
n
Mains voltage (120V AC)
n
Direct-current voltage (12V DC)
n
Gas (propane)
Select the desired power mode by the
energy
selector button
. Appliances with automatic
energy selection (
AES
) are additionally provi-
ded with "automatic mode" function. Then the
AES system automatically selects the best
energy source for each particular situation.
4.1
Cleaning
Before starting up the refrigerator, it is recom-
mended that you clean it inside and repeat this
at regular intervals. Use a soft cloth and luke-
warm water with a mild detergent. Then wipe
out the appliance with clean water and dry
thoroughly. Keep the condensation water
drain channel free of deposits. To avoid mate-
rial alterations, do not use soap or hard, abra-
sive or soda-based cleaning agents. Do not
allow the door seal to come into contact with
oil or grease.
4.3
Electrical operation
12V-voltage (on-board power supply)
The refrigerator should only be used in
12VDC-operation while the vehicle’s engi-
ne is running, otherwise the on-board-
battery would be discharged within a few
hours!

on your refrigerator.

Work on gas and electrical equipment
shall be carried out by qualified person-
nel only. It is recommended to have it
done by an authorized customer ser-
vices department
.

The gas burner must be inspected and
cleaned as necessary at least once a
year. When using liquefied petroleum
gas (tank or refill cylinders) the mainte-
nance interval is reduced to half-yearly
or quarterly.
We recommend maintenance following an
extended shutdown of the vehicle. Please
contact our customer services.
NOTE: Avoid spraying water through the
vent grilles when washing the RV.
It is important to keep the refrigerator vent
area free from combustible material, gasoline
and other flammable vapors or liquids.

Check all connections in the LP gas system
(at the back of the refrigerator) for gas
leaks. The LP gas supply must be turned
on. Apply a noncorrosive bubble solution to
all LP gas connections. The appearance of
bubbles indicates a leak and should be
repaired immediately by a qualified service-
man who is familiar with LP gas systems
and refrigerators.
4.2
Maintenance

It is recommended that the gas burner be

When the appliance is first put into operati-
on, there may be a mild odour which will
disappear after a few hours.

Park the vehicle level, particularly when
starting up the refrigerator and filling with
food before starting a journey.
n
The cooling unit is silent in operation.
n
The refrigerator will take several hours to
reach its operating temperature in the coo-
ling compartment. The freezer compart-
ment should be cold about one hour after
switching on the refrigerator.
